LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW
May 2023

London Borough of Hounslow commissioned illustrated stories of local residents, for Hounslow's Digital Festival of Storytelling. The aim was to celebrate the oldest of art forms and to encourage residents of the borough to share their stories of either their experiences living in London, or traditional stories from home.

The client provided three tales from the Ghanaian community to illustrate; the first depicting the tale of Konkon and how gossiping can lead to serious consequences, the second depicting the tale of Kweku Ananse and how you should always listen to advice, and the final and the third depicting the story of two siblings, and why blood is thicker than water.
